Laminating technique

Laminating is to combine multiple layers of material together to reach certain function. There are several major laminating technique for flexible packaging,including dry laminating,solvent-free laminating and extrusion laminating etc. Wiz Packaging has all the three production lines and currently use dry lamination and solvent free lamination most. They have their own advantage and Wiz Packaging team will make the most suitable method based on client’s purpose.

Dry Lamination

Dry lamination is to use solvent- based adhesive to bond two and more layers together. It can laminated a variety of film material,yet mostly for products which requires high bonding strength.

Solvent-free Lamination

Solvent -free laminating is more environmental friendly method. As its name, it does not use  solvent based adhesive in the process and does not emit harmful VOC and pollution.

Extrusion Lamination

Extrusion lamination has its unique compared with other method, since it does not use adhesive at all. It is a process that combine two layers together by melting a polymer and extruding it to a thin film under heat and pressure.
